Now that she can sit up, she has her hands free for playing and communicating. Here we are working on her high fives.

Kayla just turned 7 months old this past week and she's getting bigger everyday. When she's laying down, she loves to roll all over the place. It's her way of getting from here to there. She's also met another big milestone... she's sitting now.
She's been healthy now for over a month which has been nice. Hopefully her immune system has gotten stronger from being around all the kids at daycare. She's still sleeping great at night (usually from 10pm to 7am) which is really nice for Mom and Dad. And she's eating 2 meals a day -- fruits in the morning and vegetables or meat at night. We'll probably move her to 3 meals a day soon.
Also, just yesterday, her first cousin was born. Her name is Grace Ciochetto and she was 7lbs 12 oz with strong lungs. Kayla's excited that she'll have someone her age to play with at the family gatherings!

Kayla has figured out how to become mobile. She now rolls to get around. Right now she only rolls in one direction and once she runs into something - couch, pillow, Daddy, etc, the trip is at an end.
She really likes to roll and she usually starts moving as soon as she is down on the ground. It is only a matter of time before she figures out how to roll in the opposite direction and then there will be no stopping her.
