Well, she definitely remembered her prior visit there and started wimpering as soon as we entered the room. Then, they dilated her eyes and she must have screamed and cried for 15 minutes, poor baby. Unfortunately, her tear duct is still blocked so Kayla is going to go to the hospital for surgery at the end of September. They'll try to put a stint in it for 6 months and that should be able to keep it from being blocked. I'm looking forward to that being over.
Later that night she ended up with a 101 fever again. So, Thursday we headed off to the pediatrician. Good thing we did because as it turns out she had a double ear infection and lots of wheezing. So, 4 prescriptions later.... Kayla seems to be doing better. She's on steroids and antibiotics. Let me tell you, the steroids had an interesting effect. She was a bit manic at first but seems to have adjusted to them. The heavy steroids only had to be taken for 5 days anyway.
By the time the weekend came, Grandma C flew home and Grandpa P flew in. They got to spend time together at the park and the beach and Kayla recuperated enough to return to daycare today.

How come there are lots of comments on all of the pictures of Kayla;however, when i get into a photo shoot with the adorable child, no comments from anybody--no calls, no nothing.
