Here's a couple pictures from the last few weeks.

The first is a picture of Kayla after dance class. She looks a little tired after dancing up a storm. Her reward for dancing so well was a lollipop.

The other picture is from a parade last week. We were trying to dress her up as a pirate but she ended up more with a flower child look.

Last Thursday, I got a note from Kayla's teacher saying "Kayla is ready for underwear". We figured we could postpone wearing them until the following Monday, so then her Friday note from her teacher said "UNDERWEAR ASAP".

We planned to try this out over the weekend but she ended up getting the (stomach) flu Saturday night. She woke up at 1:30 am and threw up all night until about 5:30. Somehow, she still managed to wake up the next morning at 7:30 but was definitely feverish, lethargic, and didn't eat a bite all day. She recovered quickly on Monday though.

So the last couple days at school she's been in underwear and hasn't had any accidents! This is great news since we'll get a price discount once she goes 1 week without any accidents. GO KAYLA!!

Prior to getting the flu on Saturday, she started her dance class. The class is called TWO MUCH FUN and it's all for 2-year olds. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was fairly structured and she followed directions well. There are 9 girls in her class and she loved the first class. It's definitely cute to watch.
