Kayla's cousins came to town this past weekend and it was good bonding time for Kayla and her cousin Grace. It was the first time they had seen each other in a year and a half. They followed each other around all weekend and went swimming, to the Aquarium, and celebrated Kayla's birthday early with cupcakes.
Kayla's newest cousin Bryce visited as well. Kayla got to use some of her training from changing and feeding her stuffed animals on Bryce. She got to give him a bottle as well as help change his diaper. She said the next time he visits she's going to give him a tubber (slang for bath)!

Kayla attended Hayley's 3rd birthday party last weekend and the theme was princesses and pirates. We pulled out all her princess stuff and let her dress herself. The effect might have been more like "trailer park princess" but she had fun.

The girls got their nails painted, their faces painted, and got to dance, dance, dance!

Kayla's Grandma Sue came for a visit recently. She had just come back from a trip to Vietnam and brought some gifts including the outfit below for Kayla.

As you can see Kayla decided to turn the tables on the paparazzi that constantly follow her and take a few pictures of her own.

It was busy weekend. We started off at a festival at Davis Island where Kayla got to go for a ride in a small plane with her Daddy and Grandma.

We got to fly around Tampa for a short flight. Kayla wasn't crazy about how noisy it was though. However the view from up there was fantastic.

We also got to go to a carnival and Kayla got to ride lots of rides sometime she had to ride with an adult and she took turns taking Grandma, Mommy and Daddy on the rides. Some rides she got to ride without us which she really liked. She can't wait until she is bigger and do even more of the rides!

On our trip to Indiana last month Kayla also got to visit her Great Grandma Pawlik in Knox. Kayla had a great visit and spent lots of time chasing Great Grandmas cat - ShayShay. She got to run around a lot outside. She really enjoyed exploring around the house but didn't like it when it was time to come in as seen below.

On the way back from Knox we stopped at her Great Uncle Jim's house and got to see his trains. Kayla loves trains and he has quit a setup.
