Here's a picture of Kayla from the 1st day of Kindergarten back in August

Today I got the chance to go and read to Kayla's class which was a pretty fun experience. They are such a cute group of kids. They are focusing on letter F this week so I chose to read Toad and Frog, Fly Guy and The Frog Prince Continued. The kids were pretty attentive and asked a lot of questions. Although, they all got a bit antsy towards the end as it was the end of a long day for them.

Also, I was happy when we got the first quarter report card yesterday and Kayla got a Deserving Dolphin ribbon for exhibiting consistent good behavior. Kindergarten has been such a big change for her. She's attending a very large school and misses many of her friends from last year. But, she's done well to meet lots of new friends. We're very proud of her.
