2 YEAR CHECK UP

Kayla had her 2 yr check up a few weeks ago. Just for the record books, here are her stats:

25 lbs
32 and 1/4 inches tall
18 and 3/4 head circumference
15-25 percentile for height and weight
(If the doctor had to estimate her future height, she'd guess 5'4")

She did amazingly well at the doctor, especially if you saw some of her past visits where she held on to me with every bit of strength she had. She has a toy stethoscope at home so we kept telling her that the doctor would listen to her heart, look in her mouth, and look in her ears.

Kayla sat very still while the doctor listened to her heart and she opened her mouth real big when the doctor looked in her throat. She also turned her head from side to side so the doctor could look in her ears. The doctor was impressed.

The best part was when the nurse came in to give her the Hep A shot--her last vaccine for a while. Right before she came in, I told Kayla that the nurse was going to give her a shot and then she'd get a nice band aid and a lollipop. Kayla sat still for the shot and when the needle went in, she didn't even flinch or cry! The nurse and I looked at each other amazed! What a difference a year makes.

Aside from the doctor's measurements, here are some of her other stats:

Size clothes: 2T
Size shoes: 5 and 1/2 but moving to 6 soon
# of Teeth: 11
